Walking For Water
57 million people don't have access to safe water in Nigeria. Almost 60,000 children under five years old die every year from diarrhoeal diseases caused by poor water and sanitation.
I am dedicating my hike to the effort of bringing clean water to communities in Nigeria. In partnership with my Rotary Club, Temecula New Generations, our goal is to raise $10,200 to fund 4 hand pumps that will be located in walking distance to local communities to be able to collect clean, fresh water.
My Rotary club has funded and commissioned wells in the past and have improved the quality of life for many men, women and children in the Onisha area. With your help we can continue to impact those in need!
If you find it in your heart to support this effort here is how to do so:
Now that my hike is complete, I want to thank my location sponsors! I am grateful to be able to share a special moment along the trail with you. Your generosity is so very much appreciated. To check out the sponsored locations, check out my Instagram or Facebook.
WE HAVE COMPLETED THE GOAL OF RAISING $10,200!!! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS SUPPORTED MY EFFORT! I WILL NOW BE WORKING WITH PARTNERS IN NIGERIA TO GET THESE WELLS BUILT!
*All donations are tax deductible and will go to my Rotary Club which is a 501c3 organization - Tax ID 46-2306077*
